Job Summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking a Lead Field Engineer to provide engineering leadership, field coordination, safety support, and technical oversight on power construction projects based in Homer City, Pennsylvania.

Project Details

Kiewit Power Constructors delivers union-built power generation and solar EPC projects across North America. This role may involve work at changing project locations and in varied site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead field engineering activities, interpret contract documents, and support crews with drawings, specifications, layouts, and quantity tracking.
• Prepare work plans, work packages, job hazard analyses, reports, RFIs, as-built records, and project correspondence.
• Coordinate materials, work groups, subcontractors, schedules, field operations, and site documentation.
• Support purchasing, subcontracts, cost tracking, change orders, estimating, and bid quantity takeoffs.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, reviews, and jobsite supervision.

Required Experience

• At least five years of construction field experience, including engineering and leadership of engineers.
• Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents and identify discrepancies.
• Strong communication, organization, initiative, ethics, safety awareness, and ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to access all areas of a construction site and work overtime or weekends when required.
