Job Summary

Kiewit Offshore Services is seeking an entry-level Field Office Engineer to support construction operations at its large offshore fabrication yard in Ingleside, Texas, near Corpus Christi.

Project Details

The district fabricates structurally complex offshore oil and gas jackets and topsides at a year-round industrial facility staffed by construction professionals and craft employees.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Prepare work plans and work packages while coordinating material deliveries.
• Complete drawing takeoffs, support change-order preparation, and provide field engineering assistance.
• Help supervise subcontractor operations and contribute to project estimates, schedule reviews, and bid preparation.

Required Experience

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Infrastructure or heavy civil project experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel or relocate, access all areas of construction sites, and work across changing climates and environments.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, initiative, integrity, safety awareness, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work safely, meet deadlines, and work overtime or weekends when required.
