Equipment Superintendent, Crane Operations

Job Summary

Kiewit Fleet Services is seeking an Equipment Superintendent to lead planning, maintenance, utilization, and reliability efforts for regional crane and marine equipment operations. The role is based in Seattle and supports both office and project field environments.

Project Details

The position supports Kiewit’s heavy construction equipment fleet, with emphasis on crane and marine operations and maintenance across regional and project locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership for equipment maintenance, readiness, and project support.
• Plan and manage equipment scheduling, budgeting, utilization, and reliability.
• Promote safe and high-quality performance through supervision and personal example.
• Maintain equipment maintenance and utilization records in company data systems.

Required Experience

• At least five years of experience maintaining, repairing, and managing the utilization of heavy construction equipment.
• Heavy crane and marine equipment experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and leadership skills.
• Experience with, or ability to learn, equipment database technology.
• Ability to work in office and field settings and manage varied workloads.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

Full-time employment based in Seattle, with travel and relocation flexibility required for U.S. and international assignments.
