Electrical Superintendent - Industrial

Job Summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to direct self-perform electrical construction for an industrial and water project based in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The role leads field teams, coordinates with engineering and project partners, and maintains safe, productive, and quality-focused execution.

Project Details

The Kiewit Industrial District delivers direct-hire work across data centers, mineral processing, energy, and water. This assignment requires project-site presence for approximately two to three years, with potential assignments at other U.S. locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead foremen and electrical craft personnel while managing productivity, safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate field engineering, contractors, suppliers, inspectors, clients, and project leadership.
• Resolve construction, staffing, employee-relations, and scheduling issues in the field.
• Plan labor, materials, equipment, inspections, and short- and long-range schedules.
• Deliver safety training and enforce company procedures and workplace standards.
• Maintain quality requirements, cost controls, and compliance with drawings and specifications.

Required Experience

• At least five years of self-perform construction experience, including three or more years supervising foremen and electrical craft workers.
• At least three years of electrical construction experience.
• Knowledge of state journeyman-to-apprentice licensing ratios and electrical-work requirements.
• Advanced understanding of safety, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings, procurement, and estimating.
• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, problem-solving, and craft-performance evaluation skills.
• Reliable attendance, willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed, and readiness to work at varied locations.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $115,000-$120,000 per year. The full-time package includes medical, dental, vision, wellness and employee assistance programs, life and disability insurance, retirement matching, and paid time off. Relocation assistance, per diem options, and trips home may be available for project assignments.
