Job Summary

Weeks Marine is seeking an entry-level Field/Office Engineer to support marine construction operations, with opportunities for project assignments throughout the East Coast and other locations.

Project Details

The role supports marine construction work for private and government clients, with assignments based at changing project locations in cities, towns, and other field environments.

Responsibilities

• Support project mobilization, field engineering, scheduling, estimating, contract administration, and safety activities.
• Prepare and review project submittals and assist with temporary-structure engineering.
• Develop AutoCAD drawings related to construction methods and operations.
• Follow company and site safety procedures while supporting an incident- and injury-free workplace.

Required Experience

• Zero to three years of experience with a degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, mechanical engineering, construction management, construction technology, or coastal engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Primavera, and HCSS HeavyBid experience is preferred.
• Must communicate fluently in written and spoken English and be able to work a standard 40-hour week plus project-required overtime or weekends.
• Must be able to relocate and work at varying project locations and physical conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $89,000-$95,000 per year. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life and disability insurance, retirement matching, and paid time off.
