Commissioning Preservation Program Manager Oil, Gas, & Chemical (OGC)

Job Summary

Kiewit is seeking a senior-level Preservation Program Manager to lead commissioning preservation and asset management initiatives for oil, gas, and chemical projects. The role is based in Houston and supports facility integrity, reliability, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle value.

Project Details

The position supports Kiewit's engineering and EPCC work across LNG, midstream, refining, petrochemical, and other process-facility markets. Extensive project travel is expected, and assignments may be located wherever work is available.

Responsibilities

• Build and oversee preservation, maintenance, and asset management programs.
• Develop condition assessments, lifecycle plans, replacement strategies, performance indicators, and preservation records.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, resources, contractors, consultants, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare budgets, estimates, funding requests, financial reports, and cost-saving recommendations.
• Maintain compliance procedures, conduct risk assessments, support audits, and coordinate regulatory reviews.
• Communicate objectives and progress to stakeholders and provide leadership reports and recommendations.
• Conduct field inspections and quality reviews, promote safe work practices, and resolve deficiencies through corrective action.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, historic preservation, asset management, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Five to ten years of experience in preservation, maintenance, facilities management, infrastructure management, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams, with knowledge of asset management and lifecycle planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management or asset management systems.
• PMP and CMRP certifications, along with asset management or facilities management credentials.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and apply regulatory, safety, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Reliable attendance, professional communication, safe work practices, and availability for overtime or weekends when required.
